Cindy Bailey

     Cindy Bailey joyfully serves as Pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Inez, TX, where she was called and ordained in 2023. But her journey to ordained ministry began years earlier.

     Cindy became a seminary wife 25 years ago when her husband, Rusty, enrolled. Serving churches in Iowa, Cindy was always active as a pastor’s wife. In addition to volunteering in her husband’s church, she worked at a bible camp and also with hospice and a funeral home. Eventually, Cindy regularly would preach and led worship for area congregations during pastoral vacancies.

     Her compassion and unwavering commitment to God’s work have touched countless lives. And children hold a special place in her heart, and she treasures weekly lunch visits with them as moments of joy and inspiration, seeing them as the future pastors and leaders of the church.
